If selected, you will need to prove your eligibility by submitting supporting documents. If your ID name doesn’t match your application name, reach out to customer service for support.
To receive a $300 rebate, you must:
- Live in Washington state
- Be 16 years of age or older
- Have a working email address for correspondence
- Not have received a rebate from the program in the past
- Not live in a tax household with someone who has received a WE-bike rebate in the past
- Complete the online pre-application
- Each person in a tax household can apply, but only one rebate can be awarded per household
- You must provide proof of eligibility documents if selected, including proof of address and proof of income if relevant
To receive a $1,200 rebate, you must meet all the above criteria, plus demonstrate your income is at or below 80% of your County AMI.

Eligible proof of address documents
- Photo ID such as: Driver’s License tribal citizen ID cards, passports, Employee Authorization Documents issued to refugees, address confidentiality program participant cards or other government issued ID. These IDs need to be valid/within date.
- Computer-generated bills (utility, credit card, doctor, hospital, etc.)
- Printed bank statement
- Pre-printed pay stub (from a period within the last 3 months)
- First-class mail (from a government agency or court)
- Current homeowner’s, renter’s, motor vehicle or bike insurance policy
- Mortgage, lease, or rental contract
- Transcript or report card from an accredited school
- Motor vehicle registration
- USPS Change of Address Form CNL107
- Letter that confirms your residency in Washington state, from an organization you are working (for those unable to provide a physical address)
If you don’t have any documents to verify your physical address, or if you don’t have a physical address, you might be able to use alternative documents. Please contact customer service for individual support.
Eligible proof of income documents
***Ensure you REDACT or BLACKOUT any Social Security Numbers on your documents before submitting them***
- 2025 Federal Tax form 1040 showing Line 11 – Adjusted Gross Income.
- For Federal Tax form 1040-SR you will need to submit the first 2 pages of the form.
- A document showing proof of current enrollment in any one of the following programs. Letter must be dated within the last year.
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Medicaid
- Enrollment in a property tax exemption or deferral program
- Enrollment in an income-based student loan program
Individuals who are unable to provide any of these documents to verify income eligibility and believe they are eligible for a $1200 rebate are encouraged to reach out to contact customer service for individual support before submitting their application.
