As part of the funding for the E-Bike Program, the University of Washington is doing a research study to learn how these rebates affect people’s travel habits and the environment. The results of this study could help decide if similar programs should be funded in the future.
When you apply for the instant rebate, you’ll be asked if you agree to share your name, email, and the instant rebate amount you requested with the University of Washington research team. This information will only be used to contact you about joining the study. To participate in the research program, applicants must be 18 or older.
If you decide to join the study, you will be asked to fill out a short questionnaire and use a smartphone app to track your travel. People who complete the study will get a gift card of up to $50.
Joining the study is completely optional, and it won’t affect your chances of getting an instant rebate.
